The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said Wednesday it will soon inspect three nuclear power plants in Ukraine and Chernobyl.  Raffaele Grossi, director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, said the agency would send teams of experts to the Khmelnitsky, Rivny and Southern Ukraine nuclear power plants at Ukraine's request, the report said.  

The IAEA will also send a team to Chernobyl, Mr. Grossi said, according to the report.  Grossi also said the agency has deployed a permanent team at the Zaporoge nuclear power plant, the largest in Europe.  "As soon as the war in Ukraine began, the IAEA did everything it could to prevent a nuclear accident that could have serious consequences for public health and the environment," he said.
